TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) – A yoga class in Topeka is not letting the dogs out – it is maintaining them in.

Yoga teacher Susan King says the puppy yoga class is a good way to loosen up.

“I think it’s a big stress-reliever with all the stress we have today in today’s world and everything it’s fun just to come here with a room of puppies to play with them and do some yoga and it socializes the animals so they have a little more interaction with other humans that aren’t maybe their foster family,” she stated.

“It’s good for the humans and the animals.”

Class attendee Kaylynn Guivas agrees.

“I think it was great, I think it’s a great fundraiser for the humane society” she stated.

“It’s about extra than simply the yoga and animal interplay – all of those puppies will go up for adoption on Thursday and the class is a good way for individuals to satisfy them.

“I wanna adopt a dog so this was like the perfect opportunity,” Guivas stated.
